I love Pizza. I also love a good deal. So when my boyfriend suggested we check out new casual dining joint Tank and Paddle's £5 pizza offer - I couldn't say no... Even though I hate doing things on Mondays. We rocked up to an almost empty restaurant in their recently opened Bishopsgate site, just around the corner from Liverpool Street. Despite being in the land of bankers and suits, the mix match of comfy cushioned chairs and bar stools at wooden tables makes it relaxed enough for anyone to enjoy - even me in my jeans and trainers. Why you are never too old for Disneyland.

Before arriving in Paris, I had no intention of setting foot in Disneyland. All my carefully thought out plans (and I’d done a lot of it because I get a bit carried away with these things) centered around exploring the city…and the food. I mean, I’d done the whole Disneyland thing the last time I came to Paris… when I was like 12. But now that I was a proper grown-up- 21 is officially an adult right?- I had wanted to pretend be a classy lady, basking in the sophistication of the Parisen life-style. You know, like visiting the Louvre and drinking wine and stuff… However, I am never one to turn down a good deal. It turns out in winter, Disneyland offer cheaper tickets because some of the rides are shut for maintenance, so they worked out around £35- a pretty good bargain if you ask me, considering they normally cost double that plus the price of actually getting to Paris! And so that is how we spontaneously ended up at Disneyland, buying the tickets that night

Many hours of sky-scanner later, navigating complicated logistics (one of us was flying from Scotland) and my specific criteria of being somewhere new and "really cheap when we get there" left us with no other choice but to take our next girls' holiday to... BULGARIA ! No, not the Sunny Beach kind of Bulgaria (those days are long gone my friends) but the classy and cultural, capital city Sofia. I'll admit, it was a bit left field, even for me and I love exploring eastern Europe but I'd heard it was deliciously cheap and it looked pretty on Instagram and as we all know, what are holidays for if not for the 'gram. So we thought why not and booked some super cheap flights with good old Ryan Air.
